AI Assistant Seats: Per-User Ask AI and AI Studio Across Every Sub-Account
An AI Assistant Seat gives one user Ask AI and AI Studio in every sub-account they can access, for $20 a month. It does not cover Conversation AI or other AI Employee products.

Short answer: an AI Assistant Seat is a subscription for one user, not one sub-account. For $20 a month it gives that person Ask AI and AI Studio in every sub-account they have access to. It does not include Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI or the other AI Employee products.

What the user gets
- Ask AI and AI Studio, included. Each has its own allowance, so a heavy AI Studio session never leaves the user unable to ask a question in Ask AI.
- Every sub-account. The seat follows the person, not a location. It works anywhere they have access.
- Nothing changes for your sub-accounts. AI Employee plans, spending limits and wallet balances stay exactly as they are.
How to add a seat
- In the agency view, open AI Suite → AI Assistant Seats.
- Choose Add a seat and pick the user.
- Review the summary: $20.00 today, then $20.00/month, charged to the agency card. Your first seat starts the billing cycle.
- Confirm the authorisation to charge $20.00/month to the agency card for that user until you cancel.
What happens when the included allowance runs out
Once a user is past an included usage window, they wait for it to refresh. Nothing is charged by default.
If you want them to keep working, turn on extra usage. Extra usage is off by default. When it is on, it is billed to the agency wallet, or to the sub-account where that sub-account's rebilling settings send it there.
Before turning on extra usage: set AI usage limits. Extra usage is charged as it happens, and without limits a busy user can drain the wallet.
When a seat is the right choice
- Account managers, VAs or strategists who work across many client sub-accounts and need Ask AI or AI Studio in all of them.
- You want AI assistance for staff without upgrading every sub-account to an AI Employee plan.
- Not when a sub-account needs Conversation AI, Voice AI or other customer-facing AI. Those need an AI Employee plan (or pay-per-use) on that sub-account.
